**House House a go go: this is a MUST if you are in san diego. one plate could feed you and someone else for your visit and leftovers. i highly recommend going for breakfast but be prepared to wait [even up to an hour] - it's so worth it!
La Playa Taco Shop: [mission beach] California Burrito, no question
The Mission Restaurant: [mission beach] go for brunch. there is a wait
Yogurtland: the boss of self-serve frozen yogurt
Cafe 976: [pacific beach] near and dear to my heart

Seaport Village: fun, touristy shops to walk around. [biased: this is where cody and i went on our first date]
Old Town: old shops, cheap vanilla, candy store
Coronado Island: big bridge to cross; glitterly beaches on other side
San Diego Zoo: it's famous, and has pandas. what more could you ask for?
Balboa Park: free, unless you want to spend money.
